Join us and create your own personal coffee cups or dining set. A ceramic artist, @argyadhyaksa will lead and introduce you to pinching – an earliest form of hand made pottery known to man. This is a method of shaping clay by inserting thumb of one hand into the clay and lightly pinching with the thumb and fore fingers. Let the fun begins while shaping your imagination into reality.

Conducted by : Argya Dhyaksa, an ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology) graduate, with ceramic art as his major. He is known to be quite playful in making his arts. His preference to makes small animal figures with surrealistic touch has become his distinctive creation. This year he had just participated as an artist-in-residence in the event of 3rd Jakarta Contemporary Ceramic Bienalle.
Agenda : The workshop begins with an introduction from Argya what is pottery all about, the pinch method and tips how to create your own personal design for pottery, while participants can enjoy morning coffee. This would be followed with making the potteries and color it any kind you like.
